All roof areas were replaced and the roofs replicated the original; the existing original steel domes were good condition and not replaced. All existing built-in gutter and gutter framing were replaced; new gutter and downspout are 20 ounce copper. The new roof on the class included new underlayment and black slate. The low sloped hip roofs receive a flat, soldered seam copper roof system which tied into the new gutter system. The original south entrance metal railing was renovated and reinstalled. The building was completed tuckpointed. The 1/8 inch mortar joints were carefully cut; corners finished using a Dremel Tool. Custom made bricks were made to match the existing brick; 300 bricks were replaced.
